Pink

Pink vibrates to the number 6 — the nurturer, the lover, the beauty-maker — but in its softest, most purely loving expression. Pink is red with white added: passion diluted with purity, producing something gentler and more encompassing. It is the color of the heart's most universal quality: the love that doesn't distinguish, that sees the goodness in all things, that forgives before being asked.

Pink reduces aggression and promotes emotional openness. It is used in some prison facilities to reduce violent behavior (known as "Baker-Miller Pink"). Pink is inherently calming, softening, and opening — it lowers defenses and invites vulnerability. In excess it can feel cloying or suggest naivety.

Pink is associated with the heart chakra's highest quality: unconditional love. Rose quartz — the pink stone — is the universal crystal of love and emotional healing. In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the divine feminine Tara often appears in rose or pink light, offering compassion to all beings without distinction. The Sacred Heart — the mystical heart of Christ — is depicted in rose and red.
