Maturity Number
The number of your second half โ formed by adding your Life Path to your Destiny number, and describing the person you are steadily becoming rather than the one you started as.
The Maturity Number (sometimes called the Realisation Number or the Ultimate Goal) is the only core number that is not fully switched on at birth. It is the sum of the road you were placed on โ the Life Path โ and the work you are here to do, the Destiny. What it describes is the destination those two produce when they finally stop arguing with each other.
Most numerologists place its activation somewhere between the ages of 35 and 45, and the timing is less mystical than it sounds. The Maturity Number tends to surface at the point where a person stops performing an identity assembled for other people and starts consolidating one that actually fits. It rarely announces itself. It is usually noticed in retrospect, as a change in what you find interesting.
The Maturity Number does not replace your Life Path โ nothing does. It layers on top, gradually colouring the second half of life with a theme the first half was quietly building toward. A Life Path 3 with a Maturity 7 spends thirty years as the entertainer and then, without much drama, becomes the person who wants to understand what the entertaining was for.
How to calculate
Add your Life Path Number to your Destiny (Expression) Number and reduce the total to a single digit, keeping master numbers 11, 22 and 33 as they are. Example: Life Path 5 + Destiny 8 = 13 โ 1+3 = Maturity Number 4.
