A numerology reading is an interpretation of the numbers derived from a person's birth date and birth name. A basic reading covers the five core numbers; a comprehensive reading may also include Personal Year, upcoming cycles, challenge numbers, pinnacle numbers and a detailed analysis of how the core numbers interact.
The most important skill in reading numerology is synthesis — understanding not just what each individual number means but how they work together. A person with Life Path 7 and Destiny 3 is living a very different life than a person with Life Path 3 and Destiny 7, even though they share the same numbers.
Numerological readings have been practiced across cultures for millennia. The modern Western practice draws primarily from the Pythagorean tradition as systematised in the 20th century by practitioners including Pythia Peay, Hans Decoz and others.
How to calculate
